Unsolved Disappearance
Jasmine Moody, 19, went missing on January 22, 2010, from Detroit, Michigan.
Jasmine Moody is a nursing student at Texas Women's University in Houston, Texas. Jasmine traveled from her home in Houston to Detroit, Michigan, to meet Brittany Gurley, a woman she had met on social media. She planned to visit the woman and her family for Thanksgiving weekend. Jasmine's friends said she fell in love but something went wrong.
On the evening of December 4, Jasmine and the woman had an argument about Jasmine's social media posts. Brittany told police that Jasmine had put on a hoodie, and left the house into the cold leaving her cell phone, purse, and identification at the woman's home. She never returned.
Despite following up on hundreds of leads, there has been no information leading to where Jasmine may be. Foul play is suspected in this case.
