Robert Lee Kellar

Robert Lee Kellar, 20, went missing on February 12, 1990, in Muscatine, Iowa.

Robert went by the name "Robert Heuton" and had always wanted to be a singer in a rock and roll band. He was seen by his family right before he was to depart on a cross-country trip. They thought he would return but over 33 years later, he has yet to return home.

He was known to hitchhike to Colorado, California, and Florida. Family members told police that he was not acting normally several months prior to his disappearance and they suspected he might have been using drugs. They assumed he would return so they did not report him missing until two years after his disappearance.

At the time he went missing, he was a handsome 6' 1" young man with brown hair and hazel eyes, weighing about 133 pounds. His family describes him as having an outgoing personality and contagious smile.

When he first vanished, police believed he left voluntarily, however, they now suspect "foul play" because family members do not believe he would go decades without contacting his family.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Robert Lee Kellar, please call  Muscatine Police Department at 563-263-9922, ext. 608.
