Heather Teague

Heather Danyelle Teague, 23, went missing on August 26, 1995, from Spottsville, Kentucky.

Heather had been sunbathing at Newburgh Beach the day she went missing. A witness was watching the beach area with his telescope from across the Ohio River at about 12:45 p.m. The witness said he watched as a man approached Heather on the beach.

At gunpoint, the man grabbed Heather by the hair and dragged her into the woods as the man with the telescope watched on. The man had brown hair and a bushy beard, wearing jeans but not a shirt. Heather was never seen again.

Investigators searched the beach and surrounding area and discovered Heather's bathing suit near where she had been abducted. Additional evidence was also found but not released publicly.

Marvin "Marty" Dill was a resident of Henderson County, Kentucky. He was pulled over in a routine traffic stop after Heather's disappearance. He drove a red and white Ford Bronco, identical to the one a witness said they saw parked next to Heather's car the day she vanished.

Police found hair, two knives, two firearms, duct tape, rubber gloves, and rope inside of Dill's vehicle. The truck also had blood on the tailgate. In addition, Dill closely resembled the composite sketch of the person who abducted Heather.

When police went to question Dill, he told his wife to leave the residence and he proceeded to shoot himself before the police could enter. Dills wife invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to answer any questions about Heather's disappearance.

Another suspect in Heather's kidnapping was a man named Christopher Below, also a resident of Henderson, Kentucky. He is in prison for the 1991 killing of Kathern Fetzer  whose body has never been found. He is also a suspect in the disappearances of Mary Kushto, Kristina Porco, and Shaylene Farrell.

On the same day Dill committed suicide, Below left Kentucky raising questions whether he was involved in Heather's disappearance. Possibly the getaway driver. Dill, Below, and Heather shared some of the friends.

Foul play is suspected in Heather's disappearance.
