Fugitive Robert William Fisher

Robert William Fisher is wanted by Scottsdale Police Department (AZ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for three counts of first-degree homicide, arson of an occupied structure, and unlawful flight from prosecution.

On April 10, 2001, firefighters were called to the Fisher residence located in the 2000 block of 74th Place, in Scottsdale, for a natural gas explosion. With 20-foot flames engulfing the home, it burned to the ground.

Showing up within minutes, firefighters were kept back by secondary explosions.

Firefighters eventually found three bodies in the charred rubble of the home. Each body found in their respective beds and unrecognizable.

It was later determined through autopsy that Fisher's wife Mary had been shot in the back of the head, and both Fisher children, 10-year old Bobby and 12-year old Brittney both suffered fatal slashes of their throats, ear to ear.

Neighbors report hearing an argument at approximately 10:00 p.m. that evening.

Robert Fisher was nowhere to be found in the tragic aftermath and death of his family. Later that evening, an ATM camera caught Fisher with his wife's Toyota 4-Runner in the background. The vehicle was later found abandoned in the pines of a remote forest in northern Arizona.

Fisher was born April 13, 1961, and described as a white male, 6' 0" height, approximately 190 lbs, with blue eyes and brown or gray hair. He has surgical scars on lower back and walks with an exaggerated straight posture. Noticeable gold crown on upper left bicuspid. Fisher was a Surgical Catheter Technician, Respiratory Technician, fireman and avid outdoorsman and hunter. He is known to chew tobacco.

Due to Fisher's survivalist skills, he could be living off the grid. There is also the possibility he could be living with someone, having changed his name, appearance, and background.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Fisher also has ties to Florida and Mexico.

Fisher is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

A $100,000 reward is offered for information that leads directly to the arrest of Robert William Fisher. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local FBI Field Office or submit a tip online here FBI Online Tips.
