Rosemary Day 2.jpg

Rosemary "Rose" Day, 28, was last seen on May 21, 2011, at her apartment in the 6900 block of Ortega Woods Drive in Jacksonville, Florida. She went and had breakfast with her ex-boyfriend at Golden Corral restaurant. She was last seen driving her blue 2003 Toyota Corolla.

Her car was found abandoned on August 7, two months after her disappearance in the 900 block of North Liberty Street. It was parked at that spot for so long the vehicle had cobwebs in it.

At that time, authorities stated they found information inside the car that may have determined where she had gone but never disclosed what that information was.

Divers searched a nearby pond and came up empty handed. Friends and family handed out thousands of fliers and even a $6,000 reward was offered. Still nothing.

Rosemary was studying Journalism and earned a coveted internship at Jane Magazine, spending some time in New York working for the publication. She moved back to Orange Park, Florida, and planned on finishing her college career at University North Florida but depression set in and she became officially disabled.

Rosemary was also in a very abusive relationship that could have contributed to her disappearance. Police have been tight lipped about any other developments in the case.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Rosemary Day, please call Jacksonville Sheriff's Office at 904-630-2791.
