Cameron Remmer, 29, went missing on October 6, 2011, from San Francisco, California.
Cameron had flown to San Francisco from Fallbrook, California on September 29, 2011. He was staying at the Fairmont Hotel on Mason Street in San Francisco. He had traveled there with $30,000 cash to buy marijuana with the intention of starting a medical marijuana business. He checked into the hotel with 60-70 packages of marijuana.
He was scheduled to return home on October 30, but on October 6, he called a friend in Arizona and asked them if they could cover a hotel room for him that night. His friend said yes, but Cameron called back and said he had found a place to stay. No other calls were made from Cameron's phone.
Cameron had left all his personal belongings and luggage, including cash and the marijuana with the bellman that day and never returned to pick it up. There has yet to be credit or debit card usage or activity on Facebook or email. His car was left with his father in Fallbrook.
Cameron suffers from bipolar disorder and has been hospitalized in the past. It is unknown if he might have suffered an episode.
Several sightings in San Francisco were called into police since his disappearance, but none could be validated.
Cameron doesn't have any children. He is the youngest of four siblings who desperately want him to come home.
